Mrs. Meisten's
50 Years of Teaching

Dear Friends in Christ,

Mrs. Michele Meisten has been in the Lutheran teaching Ministry for 50 YEARS!  Mrs. Meisten has served Zion for 49 years and next year will begin her 50th year here.

On Sunday, October 15, 2023, we will recognize this blessed event at our 10:15 A.M. worship service. Those able are welcome to attend that service. There will be a reception after the service in our Undercroft.

All are welcome, and encouraged, to donate to a monetary GIFT that we will present to Mrs. Meisten that day.  You may make checks out to Zion Lutheran Church- mark Mrs. Meisten gift in the MEMO section. You may also go to our “Giving” page and give electronically. You will see an option to give to Mrs. Meisten’s 50th anniversary. As we all know, electronic giving entails a percentage charge, so checks are preferred.  Checks may be dropped off at Zion Lutheran Church or mailed to us at Zion Lutheran Church, 155 Second Avenue, Westwood, NJ 07675.

One of our pre-school alumni parents is coordinating a Nursery memory book to present to Mrs. Meisten on October 15th. If you want to be a part of that, please email ZionMrsMeisten@gmail.com You will be given a link to create your own page. The deadline for that book is September 12th. 

 

You may still want to send memories throughout the year, focused more on what Mrs. Meisten has done at church, but we ask that you write, or type, those out and bring them to church when convenient for you.
