Dear Members and Friends of Zion,

We will be continuing our efforts to help fight hunger working with our local food pantries. The need has increased dramatically in the past few days. A big thank you to those that helped out last week with monetary donations. We collected over 240 pounds of groceries and $315 to help our neighbors in need!

DATE: Sunday, April 5, 2020
TIME
: 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon

PLACE: Zion Lutheran Church
              155 Second Ave., Westwood

We will continue the curb-side donation table to keep everyone safe. It will be located on the side of the church on Elm St. (by the elevator entrance).

CURRENT NEEDS LIST:

Canned spinach, canned carrots, canned mixed vegetables, canned potatoe, canned fruit, tomato sauce, coffee and tea, small jars of mayonnaise and cooking oil, toilet tissue, paper towels, dish detergent, sponges, soup (we have plenty of tomato and vegetable) boxed milk (whole or almond), canned salmon, sardines, kippers or chicken. Canned chicken and beef broth, eggs, Bisquick and/or pancake mix.

If you do not have time to shop, gift cards or monetary donations are also welcome. Please mark the check or envelope "Food Pantry".

We are blessed the community knows it can count on Zion Lutheran to lend a hand during these difficult times. Thank you all!
