Our Pastor is the Rev. Thomas J. Pranschke, MDiv. Christ Seminary,St. Louis 1979. He is married to Ann Eichorn and together they reside in the parsonage with their two daughters, Leah and Emma.
Pastor Pranschke actually started at Zion as an intern and then assistant pastor from 1977-1981. He then served two congregations in New York: Epiphany Lutheran Church, Bronx, N.Y. and Epiphany Lutheran Church, Hempstead, N.Y. Pastor Pranschke accepted the call to return to Zion in 2003 and has served here since.
Christian elementary education, our work together as "the Priesthood of all Believers," and our regular participation in the Lord's Supper serve as the groundwork of his daily pastoral life.
- Daily instruction through Christian education is the best preparation we can offer our children.
- You are a priest, or minister, in your daily work. What you do is holy.
- We are offered life, salvation, and the forgiveness of sins as we receive the Lord's Supper.
A Christian man or woman should hunger to receive this food for the soul regularly. In this
Holy Sacrament we receive the true body and blood of our Risen Lord.
