Dear Friends in Christ:

Our Lenten journey begins this year on February 22, 2012.  This is the date for Ash Wednesday.  We will have opportunities to worship, receive Holy Communion and for those who so desire, the imposition of ashes, at 7:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.  Our full Lenten service schedule appears on page 2 of our  newsletter also published on this site.  I hope you will be with us often during this holy season.

During Lent, I always try to have some sort of “Giveaway” for all our members.  This year I am preparing three pamphlets containing many passages of Holy Scripture for our edification.

Words of Comfort and Hope — Scriptures to encourage all in our daily challenges

Words of Forgiveness — Scriptures speaking of God’s forgiveness of us, and ours of others.

Words of Eternal Life — Scriptures of God’s magnificent promise to us!

It is my hope that you will use these pamphlets for your own spiritual nourishment and share them with your family and friends.  Feel free to take as many as you like, to read and to share.

Invite some one to worship with you this Lenten season; it is a great way to share God’s Love.
